Roscrea RFC coach to take on midlands girls league coordinator roll.

With the plans for the forthcoming 2021/22 season well under way, the Leinster midlands committee has announced that Roscrea RFC girls rugby coordinator Ciara Maher will take on the roll of Midlands Girls league coordinator. This is just reward for her efforts and commitment over the last few years in helping to promote and develop the women’s game in Roscrea and more recently in helping to set up the Roscrea and Birr amalgamation ‘the Ravens’. Ciara’s philosophy has always been one of focusing on participation, with the objective of getting as many girls as possible to enjoy the sport of rugby. She will take on the new role working in tandem with her current duties at Roscrea RFC.

Ciara commented that she is really looking forward to the coming season and that her primary objective is to help build the women’s game in the midlands in a meaningful and positive way.

Everybody at Roscrea RFC wishes Ciara the very best of luck and thanks her for her commitment and dedication.
